A cam is something you put in when most of your plans are done. If thats all you plan on doing you're gonna want a pretty mild cam.

If you're wondering what cam specs to use, just talk to Super Six Motorsports or Delk Performance.

the specs i gave were listed on SSMS's website just bumped up 2 on the durations and i gave a lower lift i believe too

... you start to memorize things like cam specs after the 10th time

SSM and Delk both just spec the cams for you and then have CompCams actually manufacture them.

Yeah, and using their basic recommendations is probably pretty safe, but I'd call and talk to someone about all the specific characteristics before I ordered one. The website can give you a good idea though.

Yep... my cam from Delk came in a CompCams box, and I know SSM has theirs made by CompCams as well.

If you get a really small cam, then all you'll need is the cam, gaskets, and fluids.

If you want to see big gains, you'll need the cam, P&P heads, better valve springs, gaskets, and fluids.

The cam itself is $300-$350 for a new, billet cam.

This very much depends on your previous experience and mechanical aptitude.

I installed my heads/cam setup having only done CAI and intake spacer previously, but I have another Mustang to drive so I could take it slow and make sure I was doing it right, etc.

I wouldn't recommend a cam swap for someone with no other experience and no other car to drive.

Again, it depends on your situation, experience, and aptitude.
