probably not. its none of their business. IDK who they would report it to. inly place that matters is when youget it smogged, but with no cats you probably dont have a waranty and you should be getting work done at a dealership anyway, that overcharge

once they tried to rip off my mom when the mirage had a electrical prob thanx god i knew what the prob was..

they told her they had to re circuit everything and what not they tried to charge 70$ for that and it was just like a 30 cent fix cuz it was just a bad fuse.

The only good dealers here r ford believe it or not

Im going to bring it to a ford dealership around here to get all the bearings/alternator checked because my car just started to have this loud clicking/ticking noise about a week ago after i had washed the engine w/ water. the noise is coming from the right side of engine, thinking its the alternator. when i press the gas the sound gets louder.

how would a plug have to do with the bearing noise? I was just wondering if a dealership wuld report my car having no cats if they saw the car having no cats when and if they worked/checked it for the problem. my car has no warranty.

because your alternator rattles when it goes bad
. it doesn't tick.

ticking sounds like you got water in the fuel injectors.

and No your dealership doesn't have to report you to anyone.
If the Mech wanted to be a jerk off he could call the local police but it is unlikely.
but the dealership won't normally do anything but try to find a reason to void a warranty
