okay, well i changed the fuel filter for this and it stopped it just a little bit, very little, today im going to clean the IAC valve and the MAF sensor, good way to go?

yes clean em and have u done any mods or work recently? it could be something you disconnected while doing some maintenance like changing air filter

and r u throwing any codes? if so post em here

no other mods done recently, no codes except the usual one thats been on there forever, vacumn leak at the flange or something like that, ill go to work today to get them read again, doing that now, brb.

okay codes are p0420 and p0430.

question about the idle air control valve, is that the piece connected to the throttle body on the opposite side of the cable?

so what you think about the cats getting gutted? you think that is whats throwing the code? also is electric parts cleaner good to use for IAC and MAF?

the code u got is for not having cats...

buy some mil eliminators

okay, i couldnt get the IAC valve off but i did notice it was a little lose on their, all i did was spray the connection, got in drove around, not once did it drop below 500 and shake at all, what im gonna do tomorrow while im at work is find some 8mm screws i think it said, take the whole throttle-body off and then remove the IAC valve, i was trying really hard to get the bolts off just the IAC valve but i ended up almost stripping it completely, so ill take the whole thing off, replace the bolts for the valve and while the valve is off clean the inside of it. but that ended up being it. thanx guys.
