Trans Kit and Cooler and Exhaust?

Alright well i need to bring this back from the dead. How hard is it to install a transmission cooler and Transgo shift kit? Also, I'm running into a problem with finding a Cat Back System with Flowmaster Original 40s. I've heard several and really liked them but apparently no one makes a Cat Back system with them in it. Do I have to have it custom made?

well an opption for the cat back is buy a used GT tack off and then some flow 40's and replace the stock muflers on the take of with those.
and if ur car is stock or near stock (just miled bolt-ons) a trans cooler is not worth it
as for the trany kit i dk how hard it is to in stall but if u r not very micanicaly inclined then dont even try
maby some one else who has done this mod can give u a better detale on how hard it is to do

Oh, well that works. I guess I never thought of that. And the trans cooler is kind of a build up, the car eventually will have more than just bolt ons so I figure why not start, its cheap and can't hurt. As with the install on the kit, I'm pretty mechanically minded, just not really on car stuff. I can fix anything on a boat engine. I'm hoping someone who has done it will warn me if it was a job for the pros.

Dont worry about a shift kit. You can do the same thing a shift kit does with a tuner + better options. You can change the shift points to where your car has peak HP and change the shift pressure at WOT and and part throttle to your desired pressure. Plus with a tuner you get all the other goodies. As far as the cooler goes....keeping the tranny cool is always a great way to extend its life...with or without a lot of bolt ons. remember HEAT is bad.
