in my sig thats about... up to my rim... and im sitting on top of a bit... i have 110mm side walls... so that turns in to what about an inch or so over all un packed?? that was a light snow that we had about 2 weeks ago... last week we got the tail end of the ice storm that was in OK and MO and KS... i was out driving later that night... we got about 4 inches on saturday and i was out that evening...

all you have to do is plan what you are doing...

understandable.....but the CLEARANCE of a mustang is relatively low. So with more than just a few inches the frame is going to start pushing snow and making driving not possible. It all about location. If where you live you only get a few inches of snow than yeah, get some snow tires and throw some sand bags, or rocks, or a corpse in your trunk and youre set.

over rated... all i got is a shovel and some blankets... and some all season extreme tires... as kuhmo calls them...

the 5 speed really really helps ... i think that is what has made such a difference

Well ive already had my experience in my first and only winter where i hit black ice and slid into a mountain side where i did about 7k in damage because the engine got kicked to one side and twisted the chasis a little bit....but not enough to total the car...or leave anything that would show up on a carfax report. Snow sucks to drive in but is dealable.....its sleet/ice/black ice/ other ppl on the road that will ruin your winter and stang. So its your call to do whatever.

and for the record i wasnt even goin fast enough to set my air bags off when i wrecked. Driving skill goes out the window when yur dealin with ice unless you have tank tracks on your stang.....which would be cool btw
