Handling

i have a 2000 v6, i put on the gt 17x8's for handling and have been great, awesome upgrade. but i want better handling, i have eibach sportlines on my mind and just wandering if they are a bang for the buck buy. not messing with engine much, simple cai, exhaust kinda stuff. i dont want to do much, cause i look to trade in next fall for a GT, and i am happy with the speed for now. and if i can put stock springs back in when i trade in and re-use in GT (99-04 body style).

+1 for subframes

but there's also strut brace, and rear strut brace (i dunno if the new cars still use those)

and if you wanna get pricey, there's a 2 or 4-point roll bar.. or 6 or 8 if you wanna get beastly.. or go cage with a 10+

look for a sport package from them for your year ... all they have is GT labled stuff but as long as you don't get a rear torque A arm you will be good ...

Rear is 4-link, so no strut brace back there.

Best bang for the buck IMHO was bilsteins. You can get 'em from MM. I think their basic grip box is bilsteins, springs, and swaybars.

The only other think that I'd suggest that hasn't been brought up already is a panhard bar. The 4-link rear end floats like a bastard, and a panhard bar stops that right quick. Poly bushings will really help, but be aware that they'll drastically affect NVH, and do NOT put them in your upper links in the rear!

im saving up for the third link i posted TJ ...

I would advise to all that you look into the first link i posted for the best deals... yea it comes with tokicos but they aren't that bad... ... i would not recommend them for extreme use such as track use... that is all

If you're going for handling more than looks, I wouldn't recommend the Pro-Kit, as the spring rate is virtually stock. They are good if you want looks and/or you want to stay with stock dampers for a while, but if your main goal is handling, I'd go with something with a higher rate.

Also, I agree with the suggestions of SFC's and Bilsteins. Oh, and you can't go wrong buying stuff from MM really.

when the time comes when you are getting springs...save up you loot and get the koni yellow suspension package. you get progressive rate springs, adjustable gas shocks and a bump steer kit for kit 650. which is a great deal for all three of those items. ESPECIALLY for koni yellow.
