I Have A Decision To Make. Want Opinions

Alright ever since i got my mustang it has given me nothing but trouble. I'm sure some of you have seen the threads. Well I figure it will take at least $1500 to $2000 to get the car to proper running order but i still owe $3000.

Well i have the option to a voluntary repo which wont hurt my credit. Well I dont know if i should just keep this car and fix it up or if I should let it go back and spend the next year saving up a big down payment for an 05 model V6 since i live at home still while im college and dont have any bills.

What do yall think?

sounds like a good idea man... its not worth putting more into a car then you're going to get out of it

I would say save up for big down payment on a GT when yur out of college. The only reason i keep putting loot into my V6 is because i already have so much invested.....a GT would be starting over. If yur gonna start from scratch, then take the GT

You know i've been toying with that idea. The only thing is that i want the 05+ body style and the GT is a good bit more expensive than the V6. I still have a year left on my 2 year degree but i'm going back for my 4 year i think so dunno if i can afford all the comes with the GT (insurance, gas, ect). It's too soon to tell if i'll be able to get one. I'll get on if i can find one i can afford though.

See how much you could get from selling the car. If it is more than 3K, sell it, pay off your loan and keep the difference. Plus are you sure the repo won't hurt your credit?
