Gears

I'm looking at americanmuscle.com for gears and i have a few questions... i know the 2000 3.8 has a 7.5 rear end so thats giving me the option between 3.73s or 4.10s... whats the difference between the two and how much top speed loss should i expect to loose?

ur top speed loses are not gona mater because u will not hav eenuf power to get to thoese speeds with out a lot of work
and if u have an auto go wit hthe 4.10
and 3.73 for a manual

you would have to have a handheld tuner to adjust the speedometer. you will se a couple MPG loss. i recommend 3.73s with a manual or if you do alot of highway driving and 4.10's if you only do occassional highway driving of for the track.

OMZ will post a list with everything you need as he does with every thread about gears

yes u will probaly want to get a calibrator because changign the gears gives u a diferent drive ratio and there for would cause u to have inacuret speedo readigns
