Don't Park Your Mustang Where You Can't See It

Today basically sucked. I went to a local junkyard to see if i could find a bumper from a 99-04 gt to replace my stock v6 bumper, i want the cutouts cause my dual exaust is messin up my bumper. I was in the place probably around 30-45 minutes, come out to my car to find it broken into and my 300 dollar pioneer head unit stolen. whoever did it wasn't a newbie to breakin into cars. there was no damage except for the frame around where the ac controls and cd player are is bent outta shape, other then that it looks like i took it out myself. The cop that came told me that they've had a problem with people breaking into fords and stealing random parts lately. Does anyone know why my alarm didnt go off? But..its all gravy because my dad left the place where my car go broke into and went to circuit city and picked out an eclipse head unit and an anti theft system for it. this just goes to show what kind of scum there are out there. If anyone has any ideas on why my alarm didnt go off..im curious about it so lemme know.

well if you alarm is like mine, it would only go off if it had been activated (of course) and the passenger side door was opened... fo rsome reason thats the only reason mine goes off lol... im lookin into an aftermarket one though

yeah i had a baseball ROCK my windshield the other night and my alarm didn't go either. those passive systems suck. check the intensity setting of it.

ive heard even with alarms that people put on there cars, (better alrams) that if you just jack the rear up a few inches it'll shut off....it might be bullshit but idk

wow must be a shitty alarm...... i got an alarm that goes off when some1 drives by it or like last night went off 1000 times in the middle of a storm everytime it would thunder... and it has a pager that is louder than my cell phone that goes off when the alarm goes off

not sure wat alarm it is my dad took it in for me cost 200 with the install.... it was from alarmtronics if any1 lives in wisconsin its on 84th by state fair.... here is the site the alarm i got isnt on the site though

ive seen those, its annoying, i wouldnt even want that kind of alarm. ive seen a crazy video with a bmw having an alarm that shoots fire! obviously it cost alot but lol no one will touch ur car

ya i go to school thats down the block from a "correctional" insitute for teens..... aka ex-jubinials(however u spell it) going to high school so basically i have to get to school an hr and a half b4 school starts to even get a parking spot in the school lot if i dont get a spot at least 2 cars a day get broken into and there is over 300 drivers and like 30 spots but i figured i should get the alarm anyways just incase i dont get a spot and if those ppl touch my car ill sprint out n whoop em all...... yes a 5 8 lil white boy will whoop a bunch of ex-cons?

most alarms suck ass ive come to realize, i can pretty much do anything i want to my sable that has an alarm and the damn thing doesnt go off

i dont have an alarm- nothing to steal from my car except the car. my theft light always blinks when engine off and doors locked, but i have no alarm. most alarms don't work unless you hit the "panic" button on the keyless anyhow...

Never saw that one before, but I have seen one that runs current through your door handles. If someone touches your car the get some voltage running through them. Only issue is I've always wondered if that might somehow damage your car as well.

my alarm protected me for one day lol..... overslept by a hr and had to park on the street at school and luckily no1 touched it

3 days of school for that "correctional" school i was talking about and 12 cars from my school got broken into and we had school b4 them and no cars got touched and the cops say theres no way to prove that there the ones breaking in the cars bullsh*T
