4.2 F150 Manifold


ok i just found a plastic upper intake manifold for a f150 for $85 good deal but it looks different then my stock manifold so how is that going to work ?cus i already have cai and is the same thing as porting my intake manifold ,better or worse and what are some of the bad things about plastic

your CAI isnt going to work. i would go with a windtar intake, there are write ups on how to do it and is would probably be better then porting

how in the world are u going to have the throttle body i the front and still be able to put a k and n cold air intake kit on??????????

is it realy a plastic f150 intake?
from what i know f150's a aluminub whit ha simaler desing as the windstar
and the windstar r the plastic ones

idk y but i found it funny lol

u cant man and K&n is just a brand, Ebay CAI give the same h.p (1 stupid horse or 4) and are fenderwell and just cost 50 bucks

yes F150 are aluminum

we got a 4.6 here and its aluminum

so would it be just easier to port the one i have now or is there some magical way it can work with a windstar or f150 intake

why? ur just purchasing the breand name a ebay cai will give u the same results.. and ur saving like 150? plus ebay are fenderwell while the K&n sits on the engine bay sucking heat. K&n just give nice performance on imports
