Theft Device


hey just wondering if mustangs have a stock theft device on them. i see a theft light on my dash but i never see it flsahing. is there a theft device onit and it just isn't working?

my 04 gt has a theft light that blinks underneath the speedometer on the dash

sorry guess i should have been more patient. yea mine has that light but it doesn't flash when i lock the car. is there maybe a wire loose or something that would cause it to not work?

i am sure it works.
your car wouldn't start if it didn't.
it's probably a loose connection to the light or a bad bulb

no the fatory ones don't go of at braking glass, unless it is a rely expensive car or u get a high end aftermarkit alarm systom.
however what the stock ones do is if u lock the car then it gets unlocked from the inside and u open a door it sets the alarm off, or if u lock the catr from the out side then try to start it, it goes off

yeah so it's a good chance that your car can't be started by someone who breaks in.

ha that sucks. guess that means i will have to get an alarm system anyway i really don't want to get my speakers stolen. any cheap suggestions.
