Clutch Pedal Sticks Out Too Much


anyone else have this problem? i just put in the steed adjustable cable, firewall adjuster, and the uhh bracket thing, but the damn pedal is still like 6 inches out. Any ideas how to shorten the damn pedal?

Are you sure that you aligned the clutch correctly after tinkering? Ohh just saw it's adjustable... I'm not sure cause it varies brand to brand, but some of them you have to measure to get the cables to fit right...?

the pedal is the same before the mods just a bit stiffer but still long as fuck

did the parts come with instructions on how to use them?

If not you might want to contact steeda and ask how you can adjust them

okay clutch pedal this ------------ long before
clutch pedal after this ------------ long after
clutch pedal is stiffer with steeda stuff but the pedal is still long, and i had the ford dealer put it on cause im lazy

ok so the pedal is the same length as it was stock you just want it to be shorter is that what your getting at??

speaking of pedals, i dont even have a gas pedal....It fell off and its been off for about 4 months now....All i do is put my foot on the metal bar that hangs down to go.....works good haha

same here lol no gas pedal club, i broke that bitch off at the track trying to get some more WOT. I want the pedal itself to be shorter, but i don't see how its fuckin possible. i even took the nut off where it connects the pedal and tried to rotate it but you cant.

Hmm is yours longer than average? Like does your petal stick out more than what it should for your model. Or do you just not like how long it is?
