Throttle Body Size


okay, i have the cold air intake, dual exhaust appointment in or around february, what is the stock throttle body size and what should i go with?

if you up the throttle body you need to port the intake to match

whats the point in having a 75 mm throttle body and only a 65mm intake hole... your still ONLY getting how ever much air the 65mm intake can support... now if you have a 70 or 75 mm throttle body AND an intake that is of similar size then if can support that much extra air

are you talking about porting the hole on the intake where the throttle body matches up or getting the whole intake ported?

a bit of both but mainly the intake hole... if that is big enough then it should work... but porting the hole thing will increase power

Honestly save your money and spend it elsewhere. The TB upgrades really are not worth much until you go FI.

Not unless you atleast port and polish and then bore out the cylinder walls to allow for more gas

i agree but thats a little extensive. if you port your intakes the TB is worth it, if not then you just have an expensive paper weight
