Tint

So I'm getting my windows retinted next friday, mainly because my back window is all bubblely and I figured might as well get them all done at once. I know for sure I'm getting limo tint on my back window, but i dont know what to get on the rest. 65% is legal here but cops don't really care so what do you guys think? 65% or 85%? If anyone has pics of both I would like to see!! Btw what % is limo because I dont know lol.

most people go off of how much light is let through not blocked...

limo tint is 5%

go 5% or 2.5% limo on quarter windows + back one and 35% driver/pass and nothing on the windshield. or limo everything sept windshield.

i'm planning on 5% in the back 3 windows and 15% on the front, and no stripe on the front.
and FYI the lower the number the darker the tint.

I think I'm doing 5% on the rear window and 25% on the front two, rear quarters, and the stripe along the top on my windshield.

i would do the stripe at the top, but then it would cover up my cool stang at the rear view mirror, i did think about tinting the whole front with like 75% or something

its not in the rearview...its like right above it on the windshield...its like a black decal on the top of the windshield

tell the tint peopel to tint around it keeping it clean. if its like that dot matrix decal thing.

sorry i completly forgot about this thread after i posted that, but yeah it's the little dot matrix thingy that i don't want to cover up, plus i don't really care for the stripes on the top anyway, if i was gonna do that i would rather just get the whole front windshield done.

The whole windshield wouldn't be a good idea if your car is a dd. I mean rain + drak + tinted front window = ditch lol

yeah... if i did it it would practically be no tint, just enough to help out with protecting my interior, i've heard that they all protect pretty much the same no matter what level they are.

i would get something very light on the front... what i currently have on my side and back windows i would love to have on my front, and i would love to have 15 ish all around...

thats just what i think would look best on my car

yeah, 15 all the way around sounds nice, i don't know how that would go on the fron though, a lot of people are getting it on their big trucks and stuff, i'm just waiting on them to screw up with it being to dark.

if you can find a nice doctor you can get a note of some kind the let u have you front window as dark as you want. You just have to say your eyes are very sensitive to light it works in Cali don't know about other states

yeah id say 15 if they got it. 20% if thats what they have next. 5% is nice but it cant be great at night. i have 20% on my car but its still kinda too light for me during the day. during the night you cant see in it at all. im thinking 15% would make it that little bit darker that i would want. 15% all around imo, i really dont like the 5% in the back and then like 20% up front thing. keep it all the same. 15 15 15.....
