Overheating! But Why?

Hey guys
I own a 2000 model V6

Now whts happening is i fill the radiator with water and coolent ... 50-50 mixture and then wht happens is tht when the engine warms up the coolent mixture flows into the overflow tank ... and stays there when the engine cools and doesnt return back to the radiator when its needed ... i dont know wht the hell is going on ... my first guess is the radiator cap ... but i jus changed it like 6 months back ... soo i really dont know wht the hell is wrong !!!!
And the stupid thing keeps heating up !!!! ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGG!!!!!
F**kin Cr*p!

HELP !
