where to run the boost line on a 99 3.8 mustang? should I go directly from the discharge tube or go to the vacuum line behind the tb?

is that reliable? the instructions I got weren't specific. it showed the T but didn't explain anything. I put one end into the vacuum line, and one to the bpv, and was hoping for the other to go to the gauge. but, thinking about it, is it really that reliable?

yep what he said, if you run it to the plenum on the supercharger then you will only register 0psi and up but if you use vaccum then youll be able to monitor it all the way from the 20ish psi of vaccum to whatever psi boost you make

what to do with pcv valve? delete it and put one of those filter things on each valve cover, or run it back into the blah blah blah vortech? I know vmp has a delete kit, but wouldnt I be better off going to autozone and just picking up two filters for like 10 bucks?

well this is how my set up is
i have 2 T's first is behind the TB, then the BOV(your BPV) and boost gauge lines hook up to the 2nd T which is hooked up to the first.. actually i'll just take a picture and label it because i couldnt see how in the hell 1 T'ee would do them all with blocking of the original vacuum tube to the TB |

i now realized i didnt label them anyway the bottom thicker hoses connected together by the T is the hose that connects behind the throttle body
the there is a hose that goes to the second T(the higher one) that connects the boost gauge and the BOV boost gauge line is on the left BOV hose is on the right i never thought of this and i dont know why i think im just going to T the hose connecting to the throttle body and connect that directly to the boost gauges and BOV instead of re-connecting it to the first initial stock hose |
