Fog light switch (is this the actually switch?)
Once you go to that link and scroll down u will see the box that looks like that.. supposedly it is showing 2 different fog light switches ..the top one is like $17 and the other is $34.... WAY better then getting it from FORD directly ($60). anyway... the (IN console) part is confusing me.... the picture looks like the actual switch, but i just want to make sure it is not missing "anything". because it looks like the 2nd one listed.. in ( ) shows (FOG light switch).... but that is like twice as much. IF the AIRTEX is the full switch, then that is what I need. Please someone confirm it.
(I know this is prob a dumb question btw lol) THANKS~ RockAuto Parts Catalog AIRTEX Part # 1S1886 (In Console) STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # DS1078 {FOGLIGHT SWITCH}

if your any good at custom work you can get the switch and do some custom wiring; that way you have a fuse, switch, and lights, that all work and you can skip the relay... which forces some fog light rules... such as low beam only and headlight only rules

thanks for all the replies.
I just want to make it clear that I have everything needed for the fog lights. A few months ago I bought the entire FULL kit from VMP Tuning and i had connected the fog light switch to the harness under the center console. But when I did something wrong and wanted to take the switch out, I was being clumsy and i broke the switch in 2. However you can pop it back .. and I did. when it broke though I never tried the fogs so i thought the switch was good but my wiring was not. My friend did a few tests and the fog setup was great but the switch was bad. He tried fixing it (There is a lil metal piece that i apparently i lost when i broke it in 2) that he tried soldiering to make the switch work again but it didn't work. So with the above information, basically ALL i need to make this work is the switch that plugs into the harness under neath the console. I have the relay that is i located under the hood and the fuse, everything is connected, the blue wire coming in from the firewall... all that stuff. So now, WHICH one do I need? Can I choose between the two?? (Sorry for the ignorance).

I just reread your post. So I could buy either of the two since I already have the relay... and the $17 price difference is just that, both items do the same thing i presume?
