V6 vs Saleen

my friend claims he has a saleen mustang so we went out and raced. i have a dual exhaust, cold air intake, and a supercharger from a 91 tbird. he claims to have a real saleen so we went out and i smoked him. we get back to my house and i pop his hood and saw it was a 3.8L. i started laughing my ass off. he bought it off ebay for 15 grand and didnt even know what he was buying. it had the body kit, stickers, and rims from a saleen. you should have seen his face. i guess you should look at the engine before you buy it. i dont know how you are that dumb that you have never even poped the hood. fuckin funny.

that really bites the ass. that car is worth lik 9-10grand even with the kit and rims(depending on the year) that sucks though

i have never taken my car to a track. im only 16 so i need a slip filled out by my parents and they wont do it. but maybee before it starts getin cold i will. it was a awesome mod. i mean ur gona get more hp out of a new vortech or sumpthing but i got it for 300 bucks.

i went to the track when i was 16 and 17 without a parent signing for it. go on tnt nights and if you pay they usually dont check

lol a saleen clone. i dont bout the saleen kit but my body kit before added alot of weight to my car. then i took it off it felt so much faster....k not so much but i noticed a pretty decent differnce. idk if that kit makes it weigh more tho

i agree, the body kit that i got felt heavier than my stock stuff so i decided to keep it stock.

my body kit seems to weigh the same. it could be the material used. if a lot of fiberglass is used it will naturally be heavier than stock.

mine is extremely close to stock with my body kit on... oh well lol. i like it so itll stay... plus i dont have my stock bumpers anymore... kinda threw them away when i got the body kit... they had a lot of battle scars lol
