Diablo tunage


I'm at a friends house and i dont have the manual with me but does the diablo sport tuner automatically try to tune your car with some kind of present thing? cause thats the impression im under from reading most of it...

AHHH good post im wondering the same thing because i've been looking at the performance packages from steeda and the one for the v6's has a diablo tuner..

I belive theres a basic performance tune that you can upload...o and also on their site theres a manual that you can download.

same as sct, it is a file loaded on the tuner that is loaded on your cars ecu

they are not near as useful as the xcal2/3 or sniper tuners

Predators are fine for mildly modded cars imo

yes the diablo tunner as two preset tunes you can choose from (factory hp tune) the other (Diablo tune) is a completely different tune that changes your shift timing and pressure along with other things to give you more HP and tork at the wheels

no tuner is really fine for midly modded cars
if you ask me
they're ok for base tunes
but everyone has a different output on mildy modded and what they mean by it.

personally once you jump past bolt ons...a dyno tune is highly recommended wether its a cam, heads, turbo, nitrous, s/c those are more things i'd worry about
also changing fuel injectors and MAF sensor is very important to how your car works

k, well as long as the impression i was giving is right, but i like the diablo tuner, im sure all tuners can do pretty much the same basic thing.

well accept download tunes from a pc... and tweak small things ... but yea

You should find a dyno shop in your area and find out what they use. That is what you should go with. However, I would suggest SCT or Sniper. HMUSN knows a guy who can write you custom tunes for an SCT.
