Tuner and CAI


So I put my CAI on.. Now i installed my tuner software and all.. This stuff looks craaazzy.. It says I need a certain chip or the tuner for my CAI.. Is there a certain something i have to do with my tuner for my cai? I know this is very stupid, but im gonna have to get a hands on class with this tuner. Sad I know.... By the way it a steeda cai and sct2 tuner.. Thanks fellas

hmm...i have sniper...it just has an option for CAI. I click under induction and indicate an aftermarket CAI and it accomodates pretty much

Yea IDK.. Im gonna have to wait till I have a friend sit down and show me the ropes.. i dont wanna do anything really with it until I know whats what.. Ive heard people messing there cars up with these tuners... I cant afford that to happen... Is there an after tune that comes with it since my car is stock besides the cai?

You can only really mess your car up if you change advanced stuff such as temp, timing, etc. Definately have your stock code stored in case you have problems. I made sure since my car is still under warranty.

PM HMUSN. He knows a guy who can help you with anything SCT related. The guy writes custom tunes.. He really knows his stuff, and I'm sure he could answer any questions that you might have.
