if your going to put on exhaust go ahead and get a cold air intake.
you could also go ahead and put on a new set of underdrive pulleys.

smoked things are nice...uhh, SOME billit stuff, bumper "mustang" inserts, mach 1 pedals, neon in the footwells is never bad...you can hook it up to a battery instead of to a power source...works better and doesn't clutter the inside. new hood if you're into that sort of thing...and i know you don't really want much more horsepower but a throttle body from bbk would top it all off nicely. just a thought =)

like the choice of exhaust but be sure to include an h pipe. i know it sounds crazy but it really helps. especially in your top end. i just got one two days ago and was VERY surprised how much it helped. ummm not sure on mods. im also looking into underdrive pulleys. it's cheap and gives you power
if i were you i would also get a drop kit. it really helps the looks.

if you want a little bit more power, then get an underdrive pulley set (frees up hp and adds gas mileage); new coil pack, spark plus, and wires (helping the engine fire better will get better performance); t-lok and gears (3.73 for manual and 4.10 for auto). the gears will give you the most noticeable increase of accelaration out of any of those mods. definitely get an h-pipe with your exhaust. you dont have to run a mid-pipe with our cars but some recommend and some dont. for visual: what color car do you have? some accents dont always go with certain colors. let me know and ill give some advice |

wow its already our night owl shift?
![]() coastie is right the gears are the best noticeable mod. getting a larger t.b will not do anything unless you port and polish whats the point of getting a bigger t.b if the intake is stock and it will not get more air in cuz it hasn't been ported and polish to do so

a tuner such as an xcal 2/3 would be a nice touch to bring out some extra horses!

The reason that the intake must be matched to the TB is because the throttle ( thats the little flap that opens and closes as you press your gas pedal, for those who dont know what they are talkin about ) actually hits the inner part of the upper intake manifold, and does not open completely.

if yur gonna get a cam u should just save up and change over to port n polished heads and upper & lower intake. If yur gonna take the engine apart why not change those too? 2500 for stage 2+ for 80hp or 2700 for stage 3 for 90hp. Keep save and go that way if yur gonna change cam.
