Cruise Control


lately my cruise hasn't been working and i've checked all the connections i can find. any suggestions?

1998 mustang v6,UD pulleys,msd 8.5 mm wires
shorty headers no cats H pipe flowmaster knock offs cold air intake w/ k n filter, port and polished TB upper intake and lower intake, xcal 3 tune.

anyone had any probs with theirs

sorry man i dont really know how to help you. only thing i can think of is a short somewhere or a loose wire buy idk sorry

i'm with tj.. i dont have cruise control but check on wires and fuzes

yea i guess i will have to check all the wiring well i just hope i can get it working

if not you may have to take it to a shop. i dont really use mine anyway so it wouldnt bug me but idk what to tell you other then look ever all the wiring really well

also look for the connection going to the t.b it could have gotten loose or something but idk

Cruise control is controlled by your ECU....has nothin to do with the t.b. Take it to a ford dealer if you want to use it real bad.

true it is controled by the ecu but dose conect to the TB also
the red arows r poinying to the cruise control cable

that is what controls how much throtal is applyed inorder to keep the set speed
