Truthfully, I'm more concerned with it looking smooth then it going fast. It is the v6 anyway. The suspention semms kinda tight already( I used to have a caddy) I feel like 20's are really going to make the ride bumpy.

I'll post some higher rez picks when I take um. My avatar is a cell phone pic.

Put down the dub magazine and step AWAY from the 20's! You will be happier with 18's although I have seen 20's that looked good on an S197 I would not do it myself. Ride will not be sacrificed too much and if that is what you want go for it. Welcome to MM by the way.

honestly ive never seen 20s on a mustang, not even in pictures...its a bad choice, and probably wont look to good. get 18's that should satisfy you. 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the back. i wouldnt go over that

i have seen 20's on a 99-04 model stang and it looked awesome. the stang also had a kiminari body kit and was lowered 3 inches on low profiles. its on mrbodykit.com if you want to check it out

You my friend are wrong. 20's work perfectly on the S197 chassis and have no problems with rub. The car will not need lowering however. Like I said before I have seen a few S197 stangs look fawking hot with 20's they are just not for me. Bottom line is they are a reasonable option for your year model and if you think it will look good by all means...

several member's here are running 20's on their S197 (05+) without problems, but yes 20's on a sn-95 (94-04) chasis looks bad... to each their own but the newer stangs are much more accepting of the larger wheels

Hey hey hey. Our little sixers can put down numbers that you wont expect. Besides the s-197 model can keep up with or beat a 98 GT stock just depends on the driver.
