a conical filter is a conical filter. and plastic pipes are plastic pipes- etc. but the TI kit extends further down the fenderwell

you pay for K&N's stupid advertising they do on TV. advertising aint cheap and they do alot of it in the powerblock on spike tv, mtv, etc.

you want a cai that sticks the air filter into the fender well. this pulls cold air from outside the engine compartment. i got mine from mustang tuning for a great price, the fitment isn't perfect but it works pretty darn well
