well if they fit ok and there is only slight rubbing at full turn you should be fine, get rid of the wheel spacers and get a 255/45 tire if you need a good cheap tire nitto neo gens are a great tire and they are only around 86 bucks apiece

17s are advised 245/45/17
18s are advised 265-275/35/18

but depends who your working through... some websites aren't that good and have a set size for cars and no matter what size rim you select it will always say the same thing for that car...

that is an odd tire size and will be kinda expensive... 245/45 is really really common and cheap

that would suck. ill ditch the spacers once i get new tires. i kinda want to get pirellis when i get new tires. the ones i have get pretty good traction

how much did the 235 / 55 pirellis cost you?

edit- looking around, pirelli suggests the 235/55 for the mustangs 17*8 rim ... which is a really odd tires size IMO but ehh what do i know

they came with the rims. i got them off of ebay. im gonna hafta go with a lower profile cuz it lifted my car and i have a 4x4 look goin on. after that im gonna get some springs and lower it about 1-1.5 inches

yea it raised your car about half an inch higher then stock didn't it?

I bet your speedo is horribly off too?

my speedo is off by a couple of mph... yea it raised it but i got the rims i wanted so ill just fix that problem later

oh and if you are looking for a decent dirt cheap tire that can perform a little you should look at kuhmo ecsta asx you can get 4 for the price of one pirelli
