Fellow V6'ers!

i know most of you nice guys have helped me out with me 2000 V6 two-tone

SAD

Its totalled

the 91 mustang that ran me off the road in the snow did its worst

The frame is bent and my mustang is TOTALLED

WELL this guy contacted me through craigslist and hes been restoring 240sx for years and has done hundreads around the US. he used to work in GM for 30 years and turned to miatas and 240's
he buys used ones and restores them to showroom quality. he offered me a 1991 240sx SE Fastback Auto in metallic burgandy red
he sells his cars with orginal owners manuals and technical books.
he fills up the tank with gas and gives me 2 buckets of car wash fluid and a free oil filter. so basically like it was in 91 for $5200

Sound good?

or do you guys want me to get a civic.... lol
im just trying not to entirely ban you guys. its the same set up just japanese lol

Yeah man for that price you could get a '94-'98 mustang v6. But it is up to you. Maybe you should make the guy who ran you off the road give you his mustang.

240's arent that bad as long as then have the right motor on them

if it has the sr20 make sure its the det or dett that way its turboed of not you will be disappointed unless you plan on a motor swap which you could drop a VQ38 or VQ35 a 350z or altima motor essentualy or a RB motor which is what came in the silvia package of that car or a skyline and as far as body work is it a s13 or s14 body i like the S13 body with the s14 front conversion a friend of mine had one just like painted candy red with a cf hood and the smaller rb motor i think the RB25det he wanted to build a RB30DETT with the 30 block from australia and the dett heads and upper from jap but it was to much monsy im not even shore if he has the car any more

just to help you
VQ= V6
RB= I6
SR= I4
D= dual cam
E= EFI
T= turbo
TT= twin turbo
and the number between the stuff like 35 is the liter size of the motor

so the skyline and silvian had a RB27DETT
I6 2.7 liter dual cam efi Twin turbo

Sorry your wrong.
The nissan skyline came with the RB26DETT, and i'm about 90% sure no silvia has ever been build with an rb26 from the factory. Silvias Use the SR series motors.

sstang you are right no silvia came with the rb26dett engine in it that came in the skyline gtr. The nissan silvia which is the 240sx in japan came with the sr20 engine and dont put a 350z engine
it pra has the original ka engine in it if you were goin to do a engine swap do the sr20 if you are lookin for a engine that makes decent power and that is reliable or put the rb26 engine in it if you want for horsepower
what year is it
