with the mufflers, probably around 350-375, call around to shops and get the best price

what exact set-up are you getting? are you having a custom H pipe made also? or just divorced duals from the manifolds?

you will deffinitly lose power with this set up.
and if you lose the cats and just mufflers. you'll notice a loss in low end power

that is generally the rule of thumb you want to follow

now looking at it you'll see he doesnt have a 4.2L motor nor 250hp
tjames being that you've been to a dyno you'll know that 250hp isnt an easy number to get to. bolt ons will not take you there with our motor.
2.25 is deffinitly the most ideal choice

well he didnt go into details i was in a hurry to go cuz i had to have an emissions check.

but i may order some of them to soon
everyone seems to have them and no one complains with the original 40s

very true, 250 is very hard to get there, you would either need a 4.2 or nitros, or f/i. yes 2.25 would be ideal, however i went with 2.5 and dont regret it at all. i made 169.2 RWHP and 205.5 RWTQ with just the exhaust and CAI

those numbers are pretty ideal and right where you should be for a manual which is good
its hard to compare though because you cannot take your exhaust off and try 2.25 to feel
ive taken my exhuast off 3inch to 2.5 then 2.5 magnaflow muffler. i took it off so its just the 3inch dump. deffinitly some low end power loss
i had to put it back. and everyone has told me ill notice my car being faster with the 3inch
and my car pushes out 279rwhp with the tune i have now roughly about 260rwhp.

2.5 is better if you have plans on at least nitrous or a s/c or stroking the motor

IMO they are the best sounding mufflers for our cars and everyone that has them will agree with me i believe. i highly recommend them, and the soundclips on youtube dont do them justice, htye are louder and deeper in real life
