what size piping is best?


okay, im getting the dual exhaust setup in the next 2 weeks, but what size piping is good? getting the flowmaster 40s, but theirs an offset number and inset number and im not familiar with this area at all...lotta info needed on what to get here. thanx.

that size...

If your only modification is exhaust then 2.25... if you are planning on a few more mods then 2.5

i went 2.5" and dont regret it at all

if i get 2.5 what other mods would i think about getting? future mods right now only consist of t-lok, and 3.73 gears, maybe new headers down the road, and underdrive pulleys. already got tuner.

sweet, 2.5 it is, what about the offset and inset of the muffler? 2.5 there to?

yes the inlet/outlet has to be 2.5 also and get offset/offset

ya other wize u will have to have to get a reducer to get them to fit because the pipe wont mach up

its the muffler set up...

offset enter, offset exit...

the shop will take care of that

it means the inlet and outlet are offset not in the middle of the muffler, you need it that way so it will fit the right way under thre car
