New to this!

Hey guys, I have took the time to read some of the posts on here and just want to get your oppinions. First let me describe my car: Its a 2001 V6, people here have said its a saleen and others say its a cobra and even others say that it is a GT. After reserach I think its just a convertible V6 Mustang. Its green and been completely customized with a NOS system, procharger, lambo doors, 15" sub woofers, and body kit with custom paint. what I am wondering is why does this car make a winning sound, is that the supercharger? In addition, the wiring in the car has round coverings, like lights, what are these? I am new to this, so anyhelp would be great! Thanks so much in advance!

welcome to MM

the whining would be the supercharger.. and please for the love of God dont say NOS. its Nitrous (unless it is the NOS brand... then you can say NOS). pictures would be great if you have some. that would help us out a lot.

... if its a new edge you have to look a little more carefully for signs of GT vs V6 ... but if you pay attention, you might be able to find something that tells you what it is... and if you do happen across a V6, that has every single signifying thing removed... then don't touch it cause most likely a kid drove it ... and you know how us kids drive

uhh count the runners off the intake manifold 4 on each side = v8 (gt) 3 = v6 and the gt has no room in the engine bay vs v6 being nice and spacious

well not everyone sits on forums like we do lol, and normal people sleep, but a car with a body kit and a lot of work done to it can be hard to figure out if your not familiar with the vehicle, but i can promise you it isn't a saleen

it could be a saleen... just a non SC one that someone added the procharger to... ya just never know... doubtable, but ya never know
