An intake by itself would not be 12rwhp. At least I've not seen a dyno of such a dramatic gain. 5rwhp I'd see. But an intake will best be complimented with a tuner. Though the tuner itself will give you gained performance, new CAI or not

If you do research and find a CAI that comes with a free pipe cleaning then let me know how she is...... and the companies number

ebay has brand new CAI's for $25. mine was $50 including shiping and it works just as good as anyones on here with a v6. why spend $150 for a intake that maybe will give you 1extra hp. lol that wont make or break a race

you have a point lol
no but also u gotta look athe the type of material u want the intake to be
the metal intakes sumtimes can actually get really hot, and not suck in cold air

sure metal will be hotter than a composite material, but the power gains from composite over metal will be negligable(and most heat will enter the air through the manifold and the intake ports)

the most important things the CAI will give you are freer flow due to it being just a strait pipe and the better filter, and sucking as little hot air from the engine compartment as possible.

btw, if I had a v6 stang I would say screw aftermarket CAI, slap on a windstar intake manifold, and make a sort of ram air set up from the hood or other custom cai/rai set up

apparently all the intakes for 05+ are expensive and need to be tuned from what I have read. It makes no since to me but all of them say they need to be tuned. I hear C&L is good

OK? lmao hardly a mod? rims are really expensive.. so are tires.. and window tint is a VERY good mod.. do you know what mod stands for? Modification. So you swap the rims and tint the windows.. You're "modding" the car. dont tell me a CAI is more worth while than window tint because i will have to slap you
