Cam worth it?

I have a 2003 V6 w/ CAI, 65mm TB, TB Spacer, and Dual Exhaust. Is worth my $$$ to swap the cam without new heads? New heads and porting the upper and lower intake is out of my budget (nitrous and forced induction is out of the question). I am also planning on having my car dyno tuned.
What cam / cam spec would you recommend?
Thanks in advance.

sell your TB and TB Spacer (which are doing absolutely nothing for you) and use that money for the heads

it all depends on what you are going for... there are different choices for going n/a or FI

Well Hell. Anybody would want to go FI, but there is the matter of paying for the whole FI kit and then paying for it to be installed...

By the way, does going FI have an effect on the exhaust note?

it will.. i have heard turbo cars that sound liek jets... and with some cars (do a youtube search) i have seen it where there is no exhaust note at all on full throttle and all you hear is the turbo untill the throttle is let off... soooo badass

I remember watching a video of a Supra vs. Termi. The Supra was whining so loud that I was kinda waiting for the sparks to come shooting out of the bottom. It reminded me of a dentist drill. The sound, that is.

That reminds me, I heard a V8 GMC SUV today...I think there was something wrong with it. It sounded like a weedwacker. I heard no V8 rumble. Only 2-stroke weedwacker whinyness.

the whine is from the twin screw on a roots blower turbos dont whine Averlus
a turbo'd car will COMPLETELY alter your cars sound and deffinitly a different cam choice is recommend for propper intake and exhaust flow to be usually about even or EVEN exact which is why a 212/212 214/214 218/218 those type of grinds are typical for us v6 owners
SOHC you'll have to contact SSMS to see what cam would be best for you or delkperformance

hey chris... according to KB, the roots and twin screws are two different types.. very close to same but the twin screw is more efficient
