I see no point in power adders when I should be getting a GT when I graduate. Im keeping all stock parts and putting them back on when we sell my car later on down the road.

those are awfully slow stock and unless its the 3v motor then its worth modding the motor as much as the v6 motor is worth modding
both will give out on the same power level about

seeing a bike beat a car is boring...
since its common for street for street
the only thing cool about see a bike race a car is the car winning other wise its the same old

well weight to power ratio is rediculous

so being fast on a bike is about as cool as being fast in a ferrari
you buy it its generally already fast...

in other words your one of those i dont wana get my hands dirty or work for it i just want it handed over to me type of deals

Its really not that. I love working on cars. And if I got a bike, I would work on that aswell. Im just not going to work on mine because I will be getting a new one somewhat soon anyways, haha.

your upgrading to the GT which isnt to fast anyway
for most drivers the new edge is like a mid 14second car
really most drivers can only take it to high 14s first few times at the track
then build a bike...
thats cool an all but theres generally about 5 bikes at a track
and doing 150mph on a bike on a street just screams stupidity
you might have power to weight ratio on a bike
but crash to life ratio favors the guy you hit in the car

I dont want a new edge stang. I want an 01-04. I like the body style alot more and it all just depends on what my dad says. Im not putting any performance parts into this car until I get the ruling from him on whether I get a new car or not.

And about the bike, your assuming I am going to ride like an idiot. I enjoy the feeling of a bike. I have seen a close friend of mine pass away because of a bike accident and another close friend in the hospital because he 12 o'clocked his bike at a light. I know how dangerous bikes are, but I also know how to ride safely and enjoy the ride, not be stupid.

and 99-04 have the same body style

A GT is a world of a difference over a v6.

Are they fast? No, but they are a lot more fun that v6 is $ for $.
