Well I Broke My Stang In With It's First Race

I had to know exactly how much power it had and i found out. My uncle has a Corvette stingray with a V8 and a 4 barrel carb and we raced a quarter mile and i beat him like he was sitting still. Im pretty impressed, cant wait till i do my mods then it will be even better.

Yea i meant i broke it in, it only has about 1300 miles and i wanted to give it its first real run. I was surprised that a stock sixer could beat a Corvette 8.

me too? does anyone know what kinda size engine the 2006 has? i know the vette has a 428 or most, i think im pretty sure but the material used to make that stingray wiegh much more then wat that mustangs made out of. soo thats where the weight to ratio weight comes in

Well i know the 06 has a 4.0 sixer. The fuel injection may have helped alot but who knows. He just bought the Vette so it may need a tuneup, new air filter etc so i may have to run through it with some maintenance then we will run it again and see if we get the same outcome.

ohh yea but i think that engine is a 232 wat u have im not sure tho =/ i might be way off or right lol, but ive heard there the faster v6 made yet, with a 4.0 engine i can imagine. but ive raced an 05 when my 2000 v6 was stock and i won, ithe 05 may have been automatic but still lost

there must have been something wrong with the vette.. no offense to the mustangs cuz i have 1 lol but it prolly has a small block with some problems.. noway in hell it had a 428 big block.. unless he was just messing with you and not gassing it

no...i used to have models of stingrays, they have 427 or 428 engine, im sure...or maybe it was 320 sumthin idk lol bad memory
