glass packs


hey i am looking for a dif type of muffler for my sixxer. i like the flowmaster 40's but i really want something dif.

i was thinking bout some glasspacks. anyone donethis or know anyone that has done this and do they sound good?

im really looking for something that is really loud and kinda deep.

DONT go glasspack. Yur not gonna get as deep sounding as a V8. Put some LTs on your car with a prochamber if u can get away with no cats.....thatll change the sound.

well i would def love to have l/t's but can't afford them maybe one of these days. and i don't have cats

yea but im 16 years old and don't have a job cause of sports soooo. i will have to wait till summer comes around and i can afford some

oh i might add....no cats and shorties will sound like ass with glasspacks...mine sounded bad enough with cats and stock headers.

glass packs don't sound that good UNLESS you get long tube headers... if you put LTs on your car then w.e muffler you want to use will sound okay...


just remember that youtube doesn't do justice to the actual sound... they will have a fuller louder deeper sound then this

video didnt work, but i agree LTs will make a big change in sound on top of just the muffler you already have.
