Great :( They shipped the wrong coil

so i got my coil today. but the retarded chick sent me the 4 bolt instead of the 3 bolt. can i just use this 4 bolt one use the 2 bolts to mount it and then manufacturer a bracket to attach the other side. ( bracket to the 2 bolt holes and then have the bracket mount to the single bolt hole.) i specifically emailed her 3 times telling her it was a 2001 V6 3.8L mustang with a 3 bolt coil vertical electrical connector. guess she is illiterate

cuz it took 2 fuckin weeks to get here and it cost 22 bux to ship it here. so probably the same back plus id have to insure it to make sure i cover my investment and it will end up taking a month for shipping there and then return time... not cool at all.

sounds like u got pwned. Id send it back and just deal with the ship time. Just complain a real lot when you send it back and tell em youll never buy from them again and stuff like that, and hopefully they wont want to lose u as a customer and theyll hook u up. U shouldnt have to settle for something you didnt want.

if it connects electrically and works like it should then keep it... just connect it all and have some one hold it in its place turn your car on and make sure it works... if it does fab it to fit if it doesn't then send it back... it will be hard to tell if you used it if you haven't tried to install it

if you can atleast use 2 its should be fine it wont go anywhere
the firing order is the same so thats really the BIGGEST concern as well and the electrical hook up.
if you can mount 3 then better. i believe the 4th hole anyway for mounts like mine is for a ground for something else that goes with the bolt. even then ford would still be able to use 3...who knows FORD is known for wierd shit
but they're just mounts 2 should be fine if you can do 3 better

Juggs,

Since you helped me out so much yesterday, I will help you. If you are concerned about the shipping both time and $$$, then ask to speak with the retards manager. Explain to them that they shipped you the wrong part. Provide all of the emails (if available) and tell them that you want it over-nighted. If they decline, then escalate to their boss. I am a customer service manager myself and I will ALWAYS help my customers, especially when we screwed up.
