06 Mustang Body Kits And Other Parts

I know a little bit of internet surfing would give me all these answers and i found some already but im looking for the best deals and the best looks and who better to ask than mustang enthusiasts? Id like to get a nice bodykit, wheels, hood etc for my stang, i found a nice body kit for right at $1000 and that will probably be the one i go with but just looking for ideas, ill post a link to it when i get some more time. I went to ponybuilder.com and kinda made an example of what i want it to look like but you cant get a really good feel by just doing that. Any suggestions? God im turning into a post whore. Thanks guys!

I'm not too big on bodykits. For me changin the hood, the spoiler, wheels, and suspension is looks enough. But for the s-197 www.cervinis.com has a bodykit to make them look like eleanor. It costs a pretty penny though.

I really want a body kit but I can't bring myself to pay $1000+ for the kit, another couple hundred for the painting of the kit, & yet more couple hundred for someone to install it.

im not a fan of body kits either...and really i would only suggest roush or saleen. others might not fit perfect or good
also $1000! thats outragous for a body kit. u can find them about $300 cheaper
also think about if thats what u want...$1000 for the kit, imagine the instalation cost..mine was $900 for paint n everythin(but i took mine off)
lets say grand total of $1,500..imagine the mods u can get with that instead of adding weight to the car.
or u can lower the car $150, nice rims $900 and u have a nice lookin car there with $400 in your pocket and no extra weight added, just a better traction.

you DONT have to do what i sed, if u want the kit go for it. but they have cheaper ones. i just dont recommend it. i had a bad experience but not everyone does.

Damn, i figured the kits would be pretty popular, i thought about just doing the lowering so maybe ill just do that. Theres a guy selling a 68 mustang sixer right around my town for a grand, im thinking SERIOUSLY about buying it. I just gotta convince myself that its worth it.

i like mustangs with or without body kits. imo, if you were going to put a kit on your 06 i would definitely check out www.cervinis.com like was said in an earlier post. their Eleanor kit is expensive but it comes with everything... and its cervinis which is a well respected name in the body kit world. if i had you model mustang that is the exact way id go

IMHO Mustangs are not meant to have body kits...

yea i wana see it, my dad bought a 65 along time ago. it was garbage an costed $500. $20,000 later instead of a v6 he dropped a 302 boss engine in it, new paint, interior is brand new but looks like its from the 60's i think it looks hot as fuck. i'll put pics in my profile but the hurricane last yr scratched it up like a bitch. but the 68 should be fun. my dads car is fast! it had problems but in total it was maybe $21,000. he could sell it now for $30,000+ though. post pics when u can.

as for the body kit lowering it is cheaper, and less weight! lower it and rims will make ur car look nice. put sum bullet or deep dish rims on the car and it'll look fine! if u do get one, i'd suggest the elenor one then and thats it, or saleen or roush

that fine if your into it, but think about the money u put in that at the end. $1000+ and it does nuthin but looks. with the money u could get looks and better handling. and more hp in mods

That C Series kit is BEAUTIFUL!!!
Although I almost choked on my coffee when I saw that price. Granted that was with it installed & whatnot, but thats like the price of another small car.
