Ok, I am an IT guy, thus I like things that run on computers. Does anyone know of a 2005-2008 V6 tuner that runs not from a handheld such as the Diablosport, etc... but runs from a laptop with a ODB2 plug for the car and a RS232 for the laptop that I can get readings and tune on the fly. Oh yeah, it must be idiot proof for the weekend/monthly mechanic.

I MENT SCT

and SCT comes with a disk to upload to your computer
like i said i can tune from a laptop if i wanted to but i dont have one

i would get SCT and that all i recommend

now, since I have never even looked at a tuner before, how auto literate do you have to be to do a tune? Can you really jack things up with these things or are they pretty idiot proof?

if you have an a/f gauge i can street tune it


the SCT comes with 3 PRE-set tunes
VERY easy to install
sniper you've got to make the tune i believe-for new users i think its a bad idea
idk if it comes with pre-set tunes
