Powerpacks? SuperSixMotorsports.com


Power Paks
99-up 3.8 V6 Mustang 97-up 4.2 V6
Stage 2: Ported upper intake, ported lower intake, fully ported Stage 2
cylinder heads with 1.86/1.45 stock valves, choice of SSM cam:
adds up to 70 horses
Stage 2+: Ported upper intake, ported lower intake, Stage 2+ cylinder
heads with 1.90/1.50 stainless steel valves, choice of SSM cam
adds up to 80 horses

bullshit on the gains?

Looks believable, ported heads / cam / intake could very well add 80 horsepower even on a V6.

they have gotten over 260rwhp n/a on the 4.2L stroker v6 h/c/i and then over 450rwhp with 11psi procharger...

SSM know what their talking about, very good engine parts. I plan to buy a PowerPak Stage 2+ once I am outta school.

those gains are real, they have done a lot of R&D on those kits and with our motors!

well their nitrous fox body v6 has the stage 3 h/c/i done by them and runs high 9's on nitrous... they have some sick stuff. the lighter weight essex block can make the power of a modular block on a light car and even be cheaper to build with the growing aftermarket.
