Convertable help

Hey everyone! I have a 1997 convertable and when i drive it and hit a small bumb it rattles and squeaks a little is all i have to do is tighten the hooks that hold it down? and If so how do i go about it just twist them?

is the rattling coming from where it clamps down on the front windshield or in the back where it goes down?

i have the same problem - and tightening down the hooks didn't help any, i have yet to find a way to fix it
