well dependin on what color red you have, if you have just the bright glossy red then it might not cost too much to match, but if your car is like mine and has metal flake in it then it can be hard to match and will cost more. so maybe more like 1 grand. and this is also my opinion but please do not RICE out your mustang. if i were to do a body kit, i would go with an original mustang body kit, like rousch or saleen, or cobra r, somthing like that.

ok lol let me find a picture right fast,MR.Bodykit.com - 99-UP Mustang Body kit Section www.mrbodykit.com uhmm now just kinda scroll down the page, the second would be ricey, the first though is a knock off saleen kit, but its still repping the stang. basically anything you would see on a honda you dont put on a mustang

The famous ?. You want to do something cheap, i know i did. Get exhaust and a cai and tuner. If you cant afford all of them get one at a time.

my body kit ran me 800 bucks and another 1200 to be installed and painted...its not finished yet but just primered and sittin on there the kit makes it look so much better than the lame ass stock look, of course you need rims if u dont have any yet, and an aftermarket hood would be nice too...so id go with lookin fast rather than being fast, cause your lookin at a lot of cash to actually be fast, u could spend a crap load to get a 13 second car but shit my v8 does that stock so to me its pointless to mod out a 6 unless you really go the extra mile and make it a drag racing car only

hahah, im sorry but if you guys are paying over a thousand dollars to get a body kit painted yur getting robbed if it is stock paint color. look on the inner driver side door and get your paint code. Go to an automotive paint store and buy the 2 part paint (base and mid-coat) then buy the clear. you shouldnt need more than a quart of paint unless you are painting a full body kit. Take your paint to a body shop and only pay for labor and do the install yourself. You shouldnt spend more than 300 in labor at a bodyshop.

if whatever you buy is a complete bumper cover swap the DIY.....kits that ass on to the existing bumper cover u may want to have done by a prof so it looks good. My front splitter was a pain in the ass to get to line up with the body lines correctly, and if i would have know id have taken it to a body shop.

i'd go looks. performance wise ur better off buying a gt. performance mods on a v6 dont make too significant difference. yes i have lots of both. anyways i'd say put stripes on and maybe a body kit. dual exhaust to begin with though. only problem is you will have to buy a gt bumper or find one at ur local junkyard.
