wannabeimportkiller Enthusiast Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Charlotte, NC Posts: 522	well dependin on what color red you have, if you have just the bright glossy red then it might not cost too much to match, but if your car is like mine and has metal flake in it then it can be hard to match and will cost more. so maybe more like 1 grand. and this is also my opinion but please do not RICE out your mustang. if i were to do a body kit, i would go with an original mustang body kit, like rousch or saleen, or cobra r, somthing like that. __________________ Studies show that 92% of kids listen to rap. Go to an automotive paint store and buy the 2 part paint (base and mid-coat) then buy the clear. you shouldnt need more than a quart of paint unless you are painting a full body kit. Take your paint to a body shop and only pay for labor and do the install yourself. headlights are easy to install. i have the dual halo projectors and it took me about 15 minutes

well i dont have a stock paint color, and if you want a good paint job you'll pay for it, i use to work at a body shop, the cheaper the paint job, the faster it will shit out on you

gkizzle3622 Regular Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: California Posts: 156	i'd go looks. performance wise ur better off buying a gt. performance mods on a v6 dont make too significant difference. yes i have lots of both. anyways i'd say put stripes on and maybe a body kit. dual exhaust to begin with though. only problem is you will have to buy a gt bumper or find one at ur local junkyard.
