Issue With Starting

About a month and a bit ago my car was having issues starting. Had a squeal as well as it was being hesitant in starting in general. I replaced the starter which fixed the main issue which was the squeal, however, the other issues with starting are still there. Basically what happens randomly is that when I go to start the car, it takes longer than normal to actually ignite or catch. Just sits there and turns over. I checked my oil the other day and I was really low so I though it had something to do with that. After putting in the oil, things looked good, for about a day. So that was more just wishful thinking I guess.

I'm no mechanic or anything, but my guesses would be either that I need to clean out my carb, change out the fuel filter or change out the spark plugs. What do all of you think I should tackle?

For the hell of it I put in a new battery and it did the same thing. I'll have someone look at it.
