First of all, welcome to MM. As to your question of hazing, all newer Mustangs have plastic lenses on the headlights. These weather with time and tend to get hazy. I would assume the projector headlights are similar construction but I don't know that for a fact. I will say that I have several buddies with older 10+ year old Stangs who have had excellent results with a buffing kit. It is basically 3 different wheels to attach to your drill and restores the look of your headlights. You should be able to find these kits with a search of ebay.

Thanks Everyone for your advice I do like your example below. That convinced me write there. I will post up a before and after of the new lights and I think that mustangs should come stock with the projectors.

I'm not a big fan of projectors. I just spent about $200 or so on new assemblies, and installed them. Got these ones off of ebay for like $100.

you have to look at you car close up to notice that you have mods but when you do look at them they look nice.

actually if you take a side by side of a mustang with stock headlights and cornors and then take a look at mine you see a big difference.

here is one with all the stock lights up front
The stock assemblies have more lines, and things of the such throughout them, of course the cornors are different because they are well amber and not clear. The headlight assemblies I have are modeled after the Cobra headlight assemblies. The part that most people miss in them are the black accents.

For anyone who has headlight haze on the outside of your headlights, don't replace them. The new pair will probably just haze when they're about 2 years old. If you live in Southern California there's a man named Ralph Dychs who removes the haze for $60.00 and guarantees his work. He's recommended by Hemborg Ford in Norco. His number is 951-833-8734. He has a 13 step process and takes about an hour. He'll come out and do it at your house or business. If you don't feel like dealing with the work, give him a call. He did my daughters lights and they came out like new.
