There is this convert. cobra on base over here in bahrain and they're selling it for $15,500. It has a hurst short shifter, magnaflow exhaust, and a couple other things... This is a good price for the car isn't it? I'm going to see it today.. I looked on KBB.COM and it said it's worth about $19k so I figured i would buy it and bring it back to the states in august and sell it for $19k OBO b/c i know damn well i can't afford the insurance in jersey for that car!!LOL So what u guys think.. that seem like a good deal?

yeah well i would get it shipped back to the states for free through the navy! so i really don't have to worry about that! And I forgot to mention that it only has roughly 35,000 miles on it.. give or take a few! I'm going to check it out in an hour but from what i saw when i walked past it the body and everything is in good shape.. windows were tinted a bit so i couldn't check out the interior! i also forgot to mention that it has 17inch chrome cobra r rims.. i'm hoping there's nothin wrong w/ this car b/c i really want it! knock on wood!!lol

yeah i know i wish it was a 2003 but this thing is in mintttttt condition! garage kept and not a scratch on it!! i'm in love with it!! the thing is just straight up sexy..i told the lady that i'm buying it!! just gotta get the loan approved which shouldn't be a problem! my mom asked me if it purrrred(women!LOL) ...i'm like ma.. it fuckin ROOAAARRRRSS!!LOL the magnaflows on it sound really really nice...and when u nail the gas...WOW..its defening!! i had the radio halfway up and u couldn't hear the music when u nailed it!! as soon as its in my possesion u guys will see pix!! from a 1-10 scale its a 9.9... !!LOL

if she's in mint condiotion she's worth as about as much as there asking.....atleast thats how hi i'd go for a 01 Cobra Convertibe with 30k. Don't expect to make money on this car, ur probably going to get bit by "The Bug" anyways, and wind up modding her till the cows come home

"THE BUG".. whats that? i looked on KBB.COM and they said $18k..not $19.. my mistake.. but up by me in jersey there's a lot of rich high schools and if I put it outside one of them there's some dumbass dad that'll buy it for his kid... for example.. my boys ex-girl wanted this white 98 gt and the guy was asking about $15k for it and her dad bought it for her.. the car had no mods and looked like ass.. so thats why i'm gonna sell it for $18or 19k O.B.O.!! I'll have fun w/ it now and sell it when i get home!! even if i break even w/ it its better than spending $400 a month on a rental car over here like i'm doing now and getting nothing at the end of my time here!!

"The Bug" i refer to is the modding bug. When I got hit, I got hit hard. I bought 4 mods for my car within the first month, and I'm about to undergo another phase as well. Nothing big, just maintence issues that are getting replaced with performance parts.

You can get 01's for cheaper...and you wont be able to sell it for 19, I can almost promise you that. I found one a few weeks back fro 13.

I live in east TN and around here they are like 18-19k and Machs are 19-20k. The 03-04 Cobras run anywhere form 21-25k. You can sell it for 18K easy as long as your not in a hurry. What do you have now? You might like this better...

yeah to be honest w/ u in my opinion i think its all about ur area and how much a car is going to be worth or how much u can sell it for.. and i'll get $19 for it where i live.. 03' cobras go for about 25-28k for a convert. so i know i'll get it.. and its only got 36k miles on it! i have a 2000 v6 right now.. so i dunno i might keep this and sell that but i like my v6.. i dunno we'll see!! and no i'm not in a hurry to sell it when i get it!
