Single Exhaust

Ok, sorry...just another exhaust question. I just can't find anything on here in particular to this one.

Does anyone run a single in dual out exhaust. I am looking for the sound. I know that either way i am not adding much power. I have done this setup on a V8 truck before and it sounded good. Just curious if anyone has it on a 6 stang and if it sounds decent.

i was thinking of running

single in - dual out flowmaster 40 series w/ 2 inch or so pipe coming out of the dual side.

Thanks for the info...

dual out

dont run it on my 94 myself, but one came into work with the stock catted y with a 2.5 inch pipe back from the y to the single in/dual out flowmaster 40 with 2.5 inch exits and didnt sound all that bad, best sound will come from L/Ts off road H and flowmaster 40s IMO, that plus a good cam setup, but if your not gonna get into engine work, and dont wanna run no cats, cut the y get pipe ran back into two 40s and out thu some nice exits, and have a cross over pipe thrown in, its pretty cheap and will sound better and you'll see more gains, i learned about that setup from greenfallen to give props where its due

Thanks for the advice. I don't plan on getting into the motor. Plans change though. I figure exhaust, CAI are good. I just bought it to be the family errand car.

1st priority - get the stupid thing to not squeak when i turn right. ha.

it squeaks when i turn the wheel to the right. No other problems. I sounds like it is coming from the steering shaft and not the supension. It is so annoying and loud. People actually look at me when i'm in a parking lot.

if its like a whine then its the power steering pump. of not then IDK? does it do it when your driving? or only when your parked? does it do it when you turn left?

only when i turn right. I doesn't matter if i'm going 5 or 50 mph. def not a whine and def not the belt. it sounds like maybe a bushing or something is bad and there is metal on metal somewhere in shaft or linkage. Beats me, i'll just have to stop being lazy and take it in.
