what is a good site i can get tail lights from? ive heard bad things about mrbodykit.com and tinting them or blacking them out isnt an option cuz its illegal in VA.

tint them or dont leave them stock. all aftermarket tail lights look horrible, especially altezzas. tinting is illegal in CA too but mine are still tinted.

ya Im in CA and just tinted mine yesterday. I'd use lamin-x that way if u get a fix it ticket you can jus pull it of or use the plastuc covers put I dont think they look that good

i love mine tinted. my tail lights, 3rd brake light and side markers are all tinted.

this should be in visual BTW

look at some hella color magic lights they look stock but they have tinted cases one them a nd are DOT stamped so the cops shouldnt be able to say anything, but honestly with your color and tail lights I wouldnt get a darker taillight it will look goofy

i think the red kinda looks retarded anyway.i dont think the gray/black combo would look that bad

i do tinting i can lightly tint them.. so there not illegal or less illegal.. the light will shine through.. heres a couple examples stay away from the cheap rice tail lights imo

a couple lighter ones..

same here ive had tons of cars and done alot of my friends as well.. never received a ticket even if i did it would only be 10.00 fix it ticket

what kind of paint do you use ..i did mine with black acrylic laquer paint and clear acrylic laquer ..ive done tons of tailights but theyre all pitch black i want to learn how to do the lighter tint

yeah but you have the chrome headlights, maybe if you tinted your headlights too, idk though, but the reason I said the color magic lights is cause they are colored black and not tinted so the cops couldnt say anything since you bought them black

i wouldnt reccomend tinting those headlights i had the same pair.. the vision was horrible at night before they were tinted and even worse when they were

but heres what they look like with a light tint they did look beautiful
