02 problems

I put longtubes on and the 02 sensor extensions didnt fit the harness so i cut the tabs off and they now fit. I have a gt mid pipe so the sensor holes are back farther. The original sensors and MIL will not reack all the way back if i get two more extensions will they work on the back too?

since they are being MIL'd out... all you need to do is make sure that the sensors are connected other then that they don't need to be in the holes if they don't fit... you might be able to stretch the existing plugs to make it work

so if i put the extensions on the front ones with the clips cutoff that will work and if i put the MIL eliminators in and cut the clips off the passenger sensor so it fits into the MIL then cap the holes everything will work? the car and carbeurator will be fine?

carbeurator??

shot what year is your car? and if you car has a carbeurator then fat chance it has O2 sensors... they didn't really start to use the O2 sensors until fuel injection came out

cuting the tabs off is a must for some cars... the sensors will be fine
capping the rears will be fine did that on my car and it works just fine... with the mils that i have

carburetors didn't have O2 sensors... they didn't have a computer that needed that information

the reason its okay to cap them off is because the MIL's are sending fake signals to the computer telling it that the catalytic converters are working like they are suppose to be

yes any of them will work, except one wire eliminators... those are not designed for our cars... you either need the plug in connector ones for about $60 or the splice em up ones for i think like $15

click the scale under my name next to the caution sign

ok cool and the reason this works so i learn is cause the carbeurator doesnt have any 02 sensors connected to it it just runs off the computer and the computer doesnt change cause of the MIL right?

your car doesn't have a carburater... they don't do those any more...

your car is fuel injected...
MIL sends a fake signal saying that everything is working right

and back in the day... nothing to do with your car... they didn't use O2 sensors cause the technology didn't exist / wasn't cheap enough to put on a car
