Need Help
Ive been in a deal with a guy about wheels and tires now for about two weeks. He got some pictures right before we were going to close the deal for 900 dollars for wheels and tires, but he didnt know about curb rash on two wheels until now. I dont know what I should do, is the curb rash minor or bad? Should I ask for a lower price or just drop the deal?

are those real saleens, or replicas? assuming they're replicas, if he doesn't lower the price, i'd just walk. they don't look too bad, but why pay that much for rims that are jacked up?
how new are the tires? how much tread is left on them? $900 seems like a lot, especially since 2 rims are curb rashed...

those are all minor cases of curb rash... they might be expensive to fix if that is the route you want to go... and make sure that your not over paying...
are those 18" saleen knock offs? with tires?

some of its pretty bad, if those are real saleen wheels you would probably want to get them re-chromed anyway, but your getting a good deal, if they are replica saleens then you might wanna ask for a bit less

yea theyre 18" knock offs with nitto 555's and the tread is good, only about 1.4K miles on them. and its 900 shipped, 100 shipping price. should i try going to 800 shipped? how much would it be to get them fixed?

idk, bro. i personally don't like buying used stuff that i can't check out in person, especially if i don't know the seller. it's just too easy to get screwed. but that's just me...

he didn't budge on the price, said 900 was too good of a deal. I dont think I should get them, where do you guys find really good deals on wheels?

If he goes 750/800shipped that would be a good deal. But 900 isn't as steal I've seen a pair of them on svtp with bfg kdw(or kwd?) go for like 840$

Yea but see I can't buy a package off ebay cuz i dont want to run a 245/40/18 tire i want to do a 265/35/18 all around. It is almost impossible to find tires and wheels for under 1K. AH!!!

it depends on what you are looking for. it seems like you are ok with getting used rims so why do you shop around locally where you can go and see them before trying all this ebay stuff.

wheels
curbbing does look like hell, and can be somewhat expensive to fix, sometimes, my sister had my roush rims on here car for a little bit(dont ask) and curbbed the hell out of them, and i mean HORRIBLY all the way around the entire rim and sick divets, it cost me like 200 a rim to get them fixed and painted, i doubt those will cost nearly as much thu
