i do have an auto. but i don't know that my dad will let me get 4.10's because he said they are hard on the motor and not fuel efficient. but if i can get him to let me have 4.10's then i'll get them. cause i def want the acceleration.

4.10s will be fine for your auto if you dont do alot of highway/interstate driving.

3.73s. An auto with 4.10s at 80 mph is gonna be at 3000 rpms or more.

nitrous=dad def won't let me get it. at least not till i start running it at a track. and slit port swap=not sure what it is? yea i know that it won't hurt the motor but he swears it will. but if i work and get my own money i would imagine that he will let me get what i want so i will prob get 4.10
with this i should be able to run better than a mid 15 right? what exactly would i be able to run?

No offense.....but i dont think your father knows what the hell he is talking about. Swapping from single port to split port makes flow more efficient adding some horsepower with it.

well he is old school and i don't think he likes me modding out a v6. he would much rather me use it for an everyday driver. plus we are kinda low on money so he doesn't want me using money on parts. plus he isn't real good with the new technology used on newer cars.
oh well that makes since. how much would that cost me?

btw 96 with a split port swap
bolt ons
some weight reduction and slicks and skinnes on drag tires he ran 13.3 just a 70 shot
he's going for punyponys record with the 70shot-12.6 i think will beat it
