Paint


OK so i found the toutch up paint i got with the car.. and it is colorado red..... would the cost a lot to buy when i get a body kit painted?

touch up paint is not what you wanna spray a car with, cause it is off by a few shades and colorado red isnt a ford color last time I checked, so your better off just letting the body shop color match with your paint code

You are looking into alot of money to get a body kit painted to match. A local shop here was going to charge me $900

install and painting just the kit, and feathering it to look right will run about 1500

what im going to do is find out what the right paint is... buy that... then have the a professional paint.. then have my friend put it on. And i didnt know that wasnt the color that the car is

look for the paint code on the inner part of your drivers door. Go to an auto paint shop and ask them for a quart (shouldnt need more than that). And tell them you need the clear coat too. You shouldnt spend more than 200 for those two things. The bodyshop itself will have the thinner to thin the paint for the gun. Now you are only payin for labor/install. Painting a bodykit is not that lobar intensive if you know how to use a paint gun, so i dont see you paying more than 300 in labor.
