4.10's

truly im torn between 3.73s and 4.10s. i can care less about gas millage as i know there is not that big of difference in the city. do any of you sixer's out there with a manual trans have 4.10's? seems like people go 3.73s with the manual, but 4.10s seem like they would make such a better difference in acceleration. can u even tell the difference with 3.73s in a manual?

i do use my car as a daily driver and spend most of my time going from 0-50mph in the city. is it practical to get 4.10s for a manual dd? also, i do cruise at around 80-85mph on the freeway when i make longer trips. will 4.10s murder my milage at the higher speeds (again, i dont care about city milage)?

i just really cannot make up my mind , thanks guys

well if you dont care about gas mileage get 4.10s, but since it is a DD, get 3.73s. you will notice both gears, but if you arent seeing a lot of track time, you will wish you got 3.73s. also get a tlok

With an auto 4.10s put my car over 3k rpms when goin 80. Having a manual will be even steeper. It would not be practical for you to have 4.10s as a dd.

?? you should not be up near 3000 rpms cruising at 80 mph with stock gears.

good call. go with 3.73's with 4.10's in a manual first gear is almost non excistant. you will notice both 3.73s and 4.10's. but with alot of highway driving i would definatly say 3.73's all the way! thats what im going with. get a t-loc also!

Traction Lok....makes both tires spin allowing you to get more traction. A must if you are getting gears. Also one of the best mods you can do.
